The Second Life is the perfect place for creating adventure role-playing environments.
that are a mixture of interactive storytelling, costuming your avatar, building online friendships and alliances and good old-fashioned adventure.
We've created a sci-fi themed area, called Splintered Rock which depicts an outpost on a desert world where a precious spice can be gathered from the sands. It's somewhere you can try your luck at spice mining in the desert sands, work with other players to try and control spice production or play the part of an interstellar trader haggling for a valuable cargo of spice to take to other worlds. Following the example of games such as 'Eve Online' it's the players themselves which drive the story and provide the challenges.
